Kumbakarai Falls, Periyakulam, Tamil Nadu.
The pretty Kumbakkarai Falls have two stages. In the first stage, the water pools in massive rock recesses; interestingly, each of these recesses have been named after wild animals like elephant, tiger and snake. At the second stage, the Pamba River flows for half a kilometer before cascading down as the main fall. The waters of Kubakkarai Falls are enriched with herbs and minerals.
